Every artist needs a chore coat and Daniel Arsham made his own.
Constructed from heavyweight cotton denim, it's built tough enough to survive a life of hard use. The over-dyed finish means that as you wear it the piece will take on a charming patina, wearing away in places that see constant friction much like a pair of great jeans. One of the signatures of Objects IV Life is the custom made hardware, constructed with raw metals that allow them to be removed and recycled easily once you do finally reach the end of your jacket's life—or whoever you handed it down to does.
For chapter 003, a small tab detail has been incorporated into garments, seen here at the hemline under the button placket which signifies the range this piece belongs to. Like other metal pieces, the raw steel and brass construction is left untreated, allowing it to age with the rest of the piece.
